The base SL550 is equipped with a 5.5-liter V8 engine that produces 382 horsepower. The SL63 AMG has a 6.2-liter V8 that outputs 518 horsepower, while the top-tier SL65 AMG boasts a 6.0-liter V12 that grinds out a massive 604 horsepower. All models are rear-wheel drive with a seven-speed automatic transmission. Inside, the SL-Class offers a refined cabin with high-quality materials and advanced tech features. Its COMAND electronics interface, which controls audio and navigation functions, is notably user-friendly. Safety features include antilock brakes, stability control, and advanced airbags. The 2012 model year did not bring any significant changes, maintaining the classic and timeless appeal of the SL-Class.
