The 2012 Mitsubishi Galant is a front-wheel drive sedan that was in its ninth generation. It came with a single 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that produced 160 horsepower, coupled to a four-speed automatic transmission. The Galant was offered in two trims: ES and SE. The ES was the base model with keyless entry, full power accessories, and a six-speaker sound system. The SE added features like a back-up camera, a power driver seat, heated front seats, and a touch-screen navigation system. A 7 inch touch screen was standard in the SE trim, offering navigation, real-time traffic, and music server. The Galant didn't see any significant update in its 2012 model year and it was the last production year of this sedan.
