The 2012 Volvo S60, part of the model's second generation, stands out as a refined, luxury-oriented car with a characteristic balance between performance and comfort. Available in three trims - T5, T6, and T6 R-Design, the S60 T5 comes with a turbocharged five-cylinder engine producing 250 hp while the T6 gets a turbocharged six-cylinder engine rated at 300 hp. The range-topping T6 R-Design's engine has been tweaked to produce 325 horsepower. All trims have a six-speed automatic transmission. Key safety features include Volvo's 'City Safety' system that can automatically stop the car at low speeds to prevent collisions, a blind-spot information system, and optional adaptive cruise control. The S60's high-tech infotainment includes a 7" screen with optional features like navigation and rearview camera.
