2013 BMW 3 Series Overview

The sixth-generation 2013 BMW 3 Series, known internally as the 'F30', solidifies its reputation as a class-leading sport sedan. Available options include sedan, wagon, and Gran Turismo, each with a variety of trims from the base-level 320i to the performance-oriented 335i and M3. Powertrain choices are numerous, including a standard 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder with 180 horsepower for the 320i, and a more potent version providing 240 horsepower for the 328i. The 335i gets a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six with 300 horsepower. All come standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission, with a six-speed manual available. Rear-wheel drive is standard, with BMW's xDrive all-wheel-drive system offered as an option. Notable tech includes iDrive infotainment system with a 6.5-inch display, Bluetooth, and a USB port. For safety, BMW added safety options like lane departure warning, surround-view camera, and blind spot monitoring.
