The 2013 Dodge Dart marked the re-entry of Dodge into the compact car segment. Offering three engine choices, Dart offers a 2.0L 160-hp Tigershark four-cylinder engine, a 1.4L Multiair Turbo Engine that produces 160-hp, or a 2.4L 184-hp Tigershark Multiair 2 engine. The Dart comes in five different trims: SE, SXT, Aero, Limited, and GT. Fuel efficiency varied by trim level, garnering up to an EPA-rated 41 MPG in the Aero trim. The Dart featured a six-speed manual or optional six-speed automatic transmission across all models. Safety features include 10 standard air bags and available features such as Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Path Detection. Inside, the Dart offered an available 8.4-inch touchscreen, one of the largest in its class at the time, along with available features such as in-dash navigation, a rearview camera, and a customizable digital gauge display.
