2013 Ford Transit Overview

The 2013 Ford Transit is a commercial vehicle known for its practicality and customization options. Depending on the variant, it's equipped with either a front-wheel-drive or a rear-wheel-drive drivetrain. Power is supplied by a 2.2-litre Duratorq TDCi diesel engine with choices of 100, 125, and 155 horsepower outputs. These engines are mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. Standard features include Ford SYNC with Emergency Assistance, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, and a 5" screen for infotainment. On the safety side, it features a standard Electronic Stability Program, optional rear-view camera, and front and side airbags. Its unique selling point is its vast array of body styles, namely panel van, crew cab, chassis cab and minibus, proving its versatile nature in the commercial sector. For 2013, the Ford Transit received a new look with an aggressive trapezoidal grille.
