2013 Honda CR-Z Overview

The 2013 Honda CR-Z is a compact hybrid-electric coupe. It belongs to the first and only generation that ran from 2011 to 2015. Under the hood, it houses a 1.5-liter inline-4 engine and an electric motor, generating 122 horsepower combined and mated with a 6-speed manual or a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Two trims are available: base and EX. All CR-Z models feature a rearview camera, Bluetooth, and automatic climate control. Upgrading to the EX trim adds an intuitive 6.5-inch touch-screen infotainment system, a premium seven-speaker audio system, voice recognition, and Honda's Satellite-Linked Navigation System. A noteworthy option for this model year was the supercharger kit from Honda Performance Development, boosting horsepower to 197. Its sporty design, fuel efficiency, and distinctive 3-mode drive system shifting between Sport, Normal, and ECO made it stand out in the hybrid market.
