The 2013 Lincoln MKT is part of the model's first-generation lineup. It is a premium, midsize three-row crossover with some significant updates for the 2013 model year. It is available in two trims: the MKT and the EcoBoost. Both trims feature standard front-wheel drive, with an option for all-wheel drive in the EcoBoost model. Under the hood, the MKT standard trim packs a 3.7-liter V6 engine capable of generating 303 horsepower, while the EcoBoost trim boasts a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine delivering 365 horsepower. Both power plants are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Key safety features include antilock disc brakes, stability and traction control, front-seat side airbags, side curtain airbags covering all three rows and a rear-view camera. Infotainment is covered with an 8-inch touch screen offering the Sync voice command system, mobile WiFi, and compatibility with both SiriusXM radio and USB audio input.
