The 2013 MINI Cooper Clubman is part of the second generation (R55) of its model lineup. It is characterized by its extra side door and split rear doors, offering additional practicality compared to the regular Cooper. The Clubman is powered by three engine options: a 121-horsepower 1.6-liter inline four-cylinder, a 181-hp turbocharged variant in the Cooper S model, and a 208-hp version in the John Cooper Works model. The drivetrain is front-wheel drive, and transmission options include a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic. Available trims are the base, Cooper S, and the sporty John Cooper Works. The Clubman is equipped with safety features such as antilock brakes, stability control, front-seat side airbags and full-length side curtain airbags. The entertainment system includes a six-speaker stereo with a CD player, HD radio, satellite radio and an auxiliary audio jack. Unfortunately, no notable changes were made to the 2013 model.
