The 2013 MINI Paceman is the inaugural model for the Paceman, marking the addition of an all-new car to the classic MINI range. Described as a Sport Activity Coupe, it is essentially the three-door coupe version of the Countryman. The Paceman arrived in three trim levels: Base, S, and sport-tuned John Cooper Works. Base Paceman and Paceman S came with a 1.6L engine, the S delivering more power with a turbocharger. The top-spec John Cooper Works Paceman came with the same 1.6L engine, but tuned up to 208 horsepower. A choice of six-speed manual transmission or six-speed automatic was available in all versions, along with an option for all-wheel drive. Inside, the Paceman featured with a modern infotainment system and sport seats. Despite its compact size, the 2013 MINI Paceman didn't compromise on safety with standard features such as ABS, stability control, front-seat side airbags and full-length side curtain airbags.
