The 2013 Subaru Outback is part of the fourth generation of the model’s line. This rugged but comfortable wagon-style SUV, known for its off-road capability, comes standard with Subaru's symmetrical all-wheel drive and offers two engine options: a 173-hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder, and a more powerful 256-hp 3.6-liter six-cylinder. Both are mated to a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) with manual-mode paddle shifters. The 2013 Outback is available in four trims: 2.5i, 2.5i Premium, 2.5i Limited, and 3.6R Limited. Standard features include roof rails, eight cup holders, a manually adjustable driver's seat and full power accessories, while options include a Harman Kardon premium audio system, backup camera, dual-zone automatic climate control and a power moonroof. New for 2013 is Subaru’s EyeSight system, which includes adaptive cruise control, pre-collision braking and lane departure warning.
