The 2013 Toyota Prius c is a part of the first generation of the Prius subcompact hybrid lineup. It is equipped with a Hybrid Synergy Drive system that combines a 1.5-liter engine and an electric motor producing a modest 99 horsepower, making it the most fuel-efficient vehicle without a plug. The Prius c offers seamless transition between gas and electric power and comes in four models, namely the One, Two, Three, and Four. All models are equipped with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and are front-wheel drive. Standard features include a 3.5-inch multi-information display, tilt-telescopic steering wheel with controls, and Toyota's Star Safety System which includes Vehicle Stability Control, Traction Control, Anti-lock Brake System, Electronic Brake-force Distribution, Brake Assist, and Smart Stop Technology.
