The 2014 BMW X5 is part of the SUV's third-generation lineup, presented with a completely redesigned interior and a new lineup of powerful engines. This luxury mid-sized SUV offered a choice between a 300-horsepower inline-six engine, a 445-horsepower V8, and a 255-horsepower diesel six, all mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, with rear-wheel drive being standard and all-wheel drive as an option. A performance-oriented X5 M was also launched with a 567-hp V8. The X5 came in three trim levels: sDrive35i, xDrive35i, and xDrive50i, and was known for its spacious and upscale interior, infotainment system with a 10.2-inch display, navigation, and a nine-speaker sound system.
