The 2014 Ford Edge is a mid-size crossover SUV which is a part of the first generation Edge lineup. It offers three engine options: a standard 285-hp 3.5-liter V6, an efficient 240-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, and a 305-hp 3.7-liter V6 engine on the Sport trim. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard throughout. Available in four trims: SE, SEL, Limited, and Sport, the Edge comes with features such as Ford Sync infotainment system, a rearview camera, and available MyFord Touch system which includes an 8" screen, two configurable screens in the instrument cluster, and various convenience features. Safety-wise, it includes Ford's AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control system, but lacks modern driver-assist features found in later models.
