The 2014 Mazda CX-9 is a large seven-seat SUV with remarkable sporty performance for a vehicle of its size. The only engine option is a 3.7L V6 producing 273 hp, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with front-wheel drive as standard and all-wheel drive being optional. The CX-9 is offered in three trims: Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring.
