The 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class represents the final year of the model's fourth generation. It is available in sedan, coupe, convertible, and wagon body styles with four trims: E350, E350 4MATIC, E550, and E63 AMG. The base E350 comes with a 302-hp V6 engine, while the E550 boasts a 402-hp V8 and the high-performance E63 AMG gets a 550-hp or 577-hp V8. All engines are mated to a seamless 7-speed automatic transmission, with rear-wheel drive standard and all-wheel drive available. Key safety features include nine airbags, electronic stability and traction control, a PRE-SAFE system that can detect an imminent crash, and available systems like Adaptive Brake Assist and Blind Spot Assist. The E-Class also offers a 7-inch COMAND infotainment system and advanced tech like voice commands and optional in-car WiFi. 2014 brought a refresh with sharper styling, new safety tech, and a fuel-saving ECO start/stop function.
