2014 RAM 3500 Overview

The 2014 Ram 3500 is a robust heavy-duty pickup, part of the fourth-generation Ram era. It offers a standard 5.7L V8 engine with 383 horsepower and two optional units - a 6.4L V8 delivering 410 horsepower, and a 6.7L Cummins turbo-diesel inline-six offering a mighty 850 lb-ft of torque. Depending on the engine, there's a 6-speed manual, or a 6-speed automatic transmission. It comes in numerous trims such as the Tradesman, SLT, Big Horn, Laramie, Laramie Longhorn, and the lavish Laramie Limited. Notable features include an 8.4-inch touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a premium 10-speaker audio system. Additional safety and convenience features include parking sensors, rearview camera and an integrated brake controller. The 2014 model had improvements in max towing and payload capacity due to chassis upgrades, and interior enhancements offering more comfort and luxury.
