2014 Toyota Avalon Overview

The 2014 Toyota Avalon, part of the model's fifth generation, is a front-wheel-drive sedan that delivers graceful power and luxury. Available in XLE, XLE Premium, XLE Touring and Limited trims, the Avalon is equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine offering 268 horsepower coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission. The Avalon also offers a hybrid version that pairs a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine with a battery pack and an electric motor, delivering a combined output of 200 horsepower. Key safety features include adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, and the Toyota Star Safety System which includes vehicle stability control, traction control, anti-lock brake system, electronic brake-force distribution, brake assist, and smart stop technology. For infotainment, the 2014 Avalon sports a 6.1-inch touchscreen interface for the Entune system, and comes with keyless ignition, Bluetooth and a rearview camera as standard.
