The 2014 Volvo XC60, part of the model's first generation, offers a luxury compact SUV experience. Equipped with a standard T6 3.0L I6 engine delivering up to 300 horsepower and an optional 3.2L I6 engine generating 240 horsepower, the XC60 provides a smooth and responsive ride. Both engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with a front-wheel drive (FWD) configuration, though an all-wheel-drive (AWD) option is also available. It comes in three trims: the base 3.2, the upscale T6, and the sport-themed R-Design. For safety, it features Volvo’s City Safety automatic braking system and optional pedestrian detection system. Moving to the interior, it boasts a 7-inch display, a USB/iPod interface, Bluetooth, and satellite radio. Volvo’s Sensus system, which debuted for 2014, brought additional integration for apps like Pandora and Rdio.
