The 2015 BMW 6 Series represents the third generation of the luxurious performance-oriented model line. Available in three body styles: coupe, convertible, and four-door Gran Coupe. Among the powertrain options, there's a 315-hp 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six in the 640i, a 445-hp 4.4L twin-turbo V8 in the 650i, and an astounding 560-hp 4.4L V8 in the M6. Rear-wheel-drive is standard across the range, though all-wheel drive is available with the 'xDrive' models. An eight-speed automatic transmission is standard. Infotainment essentials include a 10.2" display, iDrive controller, navigation, and a nine-speaker audio system. The 2015 model was largely a carry-over year, but it did see slight exterior, interior, and technological updates. Safety equipment in the BMW 6 series includes ABS, traction control, an anti-skid system, and front-side and two-row curtain-side airbags.
