2015 BMW X3 Overview

The 2015 BMW X3 belongs to the compact luxury crossover's second generation. Available in three trims: sDrive28i, xDrive28i and xDrive35i, it is offered with a choice of two engines - a 240 hp turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder and a 300 hp turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder. All versions come standard with an 8-speed automatic transmission. RWD is standard for sDrive28i, while AWD comes standard for all 'xDrive' trims. Key attributes include a tasteful and upscale interior, responsive handling, strong engine performance, and generous cargo capacity. Safety features include adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, active blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, and forward collision warning with automatic braking. The standard infotainment system boasts a 6.5-inch display, Bluetooth, USB port, and a nine-speaker audio system. 2015 also marked the introduction of the X3's optional diesel engine, further enhancing fuel efficiency.
