The 2015 BMW X5 is part of the model's third generation and is a luxury midsize SUV. It comes with several engine options: a 255-hp turbo-diesel six-cylinder, a 300-hp turbocharged six-cylinder, a 445-hp V8, and a 567-hp V8 in the high-performance X5 M. An 8-speed automatic transmission is standard across all trims, as is all-wheel drive (except in the rear-wheel-drive sDrive35i). The 2015 X5 offers up to five trims including the base 35i, 35d, 50i, and the high-performance X5 M and X5 xDrive35i. Standard safety features include BMW Assist eCall, providing emergency assistance at the touch of a button. Meanwhile, its infotainment system boasts a 10.2-inch display, navigation, Bluetooth, and BMW's iDrive controller. The 2015 X5 saw few changes compared to the 2014 redesign but added the X5 M variant back to the lineup.
