The 2015 Chevrolet Express is part of the model's first and only generation, having debuted in 1996. This full-size van comes in two styles: a passenger van and a cargo van. Both can be had with a standard wheelbase or long wheelbase. The Express has two engine options: a 4.3-liter V6 that produces 280 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque or a 6.0-liter V8 that delivers 341 horsepower and 373 lb-ft of torque, both are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive is standard. The Express is equipped with a basic audio system and air conditioning while tech features are scant, reflecting its primary function as a work vehicle. For safety, beyond the standard airbags, the Express also has standard stability control and GM's OnStar system.
