The 2015 Chevrolet Spark EV is a front-wheel drive subcompact electric vehicle offering robust performance and an environmentally friendly alternative. It's powered by an electric motor that produces 140 horsepower and stunning 327 lb-ft of torque, mated to a single-speed automatic transmission. This EV provides a worry-free range of about 82 miles. The Spark EV comes in two trims: 1LT and 2LT, each boasting standard features such as Chevrolet's MyLink Infotainment System with a 7-inch touchscreen, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, OnStar with 4G LTE and built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, as well as keyless entry. It is also equipped with a range of safety features including 10 total airbags, StabiliTrak Electronic Stability Control System, and LATCH system. The battery can be charged in seven hours with a 240-volt charger, which makes it suitable for overnight home charging. However, using a DC fast charge, the battery can reach 80% capacity in only 20 minutes.
