The 2015 Ford Expedition, part of the third-generation of Ford's full-size SUV, is powered by a new 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine producing 365 horsepower. Instead of its previous V8, this EcoBoost V6 economizes fuel while providing robust towing capacity. Available in either rear- or four-wheel drive layout, all Expedition trims feature a 6-speed automatic transmission. The 2015 Expedition comes in four trims: XLT, Limited, King Ranch, and Platinum. New for 2015 is an independent rear suspension, for improved ride and handling, and an optional continuously damping system that adjusts to 46 parameters in real-time. Inside, a 4.2-inch or 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system features Ford's SYNC interface with voice control and smartphone integration. Safety highlights include stability and traction control systems, trailer sway control, front-seat side airbags and full-length side curtain-type airbags.
