The 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee is part of the SUV's fourth generation. It strikes a balance between off-road capability and on-road refinement. Powered by a standard 3.6L V6 engine delivering 295 horsepower, the Grand Cherokee offers multiple upgrades including a 5.7L V8, a turbocharged 3.0L V6 diesel, and a sensational 6.4L V8 in the SRT variant. All engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, and four-wheel drive is either standard or available, depending on the configuration. The base Laredo trim comes with keyless ignition and entry, cruise control, and a 5-inch touchscreen, while higher trims offer an 8.4-inch touchscreen, navigation, and the Uconnect infotainment system with Bluetooth. The 2015 model year saw slight styling tweaks and the introduction of an Active Noise Cancellation system for the Summit trim. In safety aspects, the vehicle comes with antilock disc brakes, stability and traction control, and multiple airbags.
