The 2015 Mazda CX-9 is a part of the model's first generation that started in 2007, and it stands as a strong contender in the midsize SUV class. It is available in Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring trims, all with a potent 3.7-liter V6 engine that churns out 273 horsepower and a smooth six-speed automatic transmission. FWD is standard on the CX-9 with an AWD option available. Safety features include stability and traction control, antilock disc brakes, and a suite of airbags (including full-length curtain-type airbags for all three rows) as standard across trims. Touring and Grand Touring models also feature a rearview camera and rear parking sensors. The CX-9's infotainment system includes a 5.8” touchscreen and USB port, in addition to Bluetooth and HD Radio. The 2015 model did not bring significant new features or design changes.
