Part of Mercedes-Benz's ninth-generation (code-named W212), the 2015 E-Class offers a combination of luxury and performance in sedan, coupe, convertible, and wagon body styles. Among the numerous powertrains are a 195-hp diesel, 302-hp V6, 329-hp twin-turbo V6, 402-hp twin-turbo V8, and up to 577 hp with the AMG versions. Rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive (4MATIC) variants were offered, all featuring a 7-speed automatic transmission. Leather upholstery, COMAND infotainment system with a 7-inch display, navigation, Bluetooth, and a sunroof are standard features. Safety tech includes ATTENTION ASSIST, COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST, and optional DISTRONIC PLUS with Steering Assist. For 2015, a new E400 hybrid trim was introduced, and some trims received standard all-wheel drive.
