The 2015 Subaru Outback belongs to the fifth generation of the model. This AWD crossover SUV is available in four trims: 2.5i, 2.5i Premium, 2.5i Limited and 3.6R Limited. The base 2.5i is powered by a 175-horsepower, 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, while the 3.6R Limited gets a 256-hp 3.6-liter six-cylinder. Both are paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The 2015 Outback’s generous standard equipment includes a 6.2-inch multimedia touch screen, Bluetooth, a rearview camera, and Subaru's EyeSight suite of safety tech, which offers adaptive cruise control, pre-collision braking, and lane departure warning. The 2.5i Premium trim and above add a 7.0-inch touch screen, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats and a power-adjustable driver's seat. The 2015 Outback was lauded for its roomy interior, impressive fuel economy, off-road capability and top safety ratings from the IIHS and NHTSA.
