The 2015 Volkswagen Beetle, part of the third and final generation, is a compact, front-wheel-drive car available in multiple trims including the 1.8T, R-Line and TDI. A key highlight of the 2015 model is its selection of engines: a 1.8L turbo-4 providing 170 hp and a 2.0L turbocharged diesel delivering 150 hp. Also renowned is the R-Line's 2.0L turbo-4 putting out an impressive 210 hp. The 6-speed automatic transmission is standard with an option for a 6-speed manual in the R-Line. Volkswagen also introduced a new Classic trim and a larger touchscreen interface for 2015. Safety features include standard stability and traction control, antilock disc brakes, and front side airbags.
