Transmission options range from eight-speed automatic for the T5 Drive-E to a six-speed automatic for others. All-wheel drive is available except for the T5 Drive-E. Key safety features include standard City Safety system designed to mitigate or avoid a low-speed frontal impact by applying the car's brakes without driver intervention, while infotainment highlights include a seven-inch screen, Bluetooth, and satellite radio. For 2015, Volvo ditches the previous six-cylinder engine in favor of a new 2.0-liter four-cylinder that simultaneously powers a turbocharger and a supercharger.
