2016 Audi A8 Overview

The 2016 Audi A8 represents the third generation of Audi's flagship luxury sedan, known for its advanced technology and exceptional comfort. The A8 is available in four trims: 3.0T, 4.0T Sport, S8, and W12. The 3.0T features a 333-hp V6 engine, while the V8-powered 4.0T Sport gets 450 horses. The performance-oriented S8 uses a variant of the 4.0-liter V8 tuned to 605 horsepower, and the W12 peaks the lineup with a 500-hp 6.3-liter twelve-cylinder engine. All models employ an eight-speed automatic transmission with full-time AWD. Key tech features include a 7-inch display with Audi’s MMI infotainment, navigation, Google Earth maps, Wi-Fi hotspot, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. The 2016 A8 was also one of the first vehicles to implement advanced safety features such as adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, blind-spot warning, night vision, and Audi's Pre Sense system that can prepare the vehicle for impact when a collision is imminent.
