2016 BMW 3 Series Overview

The 2016 BMW 3 Series is part of the luxury sedan's sixth generation, known for its premier blend of comfort, performance, and technology. Buyers can choose between several engine options: a base 180-hp turbocharged four-cylinder (320i), a 240-hp turbocharged four-cylinder (328i), a 300-hp turbocharged six-cylinder (340i), and even a turbodiesel (328d). Depending on the model, the 3 Series comes with either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, and an 8-speed automatic transmission is standard with a manual offered as an option. The sedan is equipped with an intuitive 6.5-inch iDrive infotainment system, dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth, and USB port. The 3 Series' safety features include BMW Assist eCall, which includes emergency services button and automatic collision notification. The 2016 model year upgraded the 340i's engine from previously 335i and enhanced cabin detail design.
