The 2016 Ford Edge is a midsize crossover SUV available in four trims — SE, SEL, Titanium, and Sport. Powered by a base 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine, it produces 245 horsepower. A six-speed automatic is the standard transmission, with front-wheel drive (FWD) as standard and all-wheel drive (AWD) optional except on the Sport, where AWD is standard. The top-of-the-line Sport gets a 2.7L twin-turbo V6 that roars with 315 horsepower. The SUV features front and rear parking sensors, a rearview camera and Ford's MyKey, allowing owners to set certain driving parameters. Infotainment features include Sync 3 system, eight-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. For the 2016 model, Ford has phased out the problematic MyFord Touch infotainment system.
