The Ford Excursion was a full-size SUV produced by Ford from 1999 to 2005. Although Ford ceased production of the Excursion after the 2005 model year, the 2016 version has been kept alive in enthusiast circles due to its robustness and capacity. Known for its comfortably spacious interior with room for up to 9 people, the Excursion also offered ample cargo space. It was powered by a choice of V8 or V10 engines, as well as a power Stroke Diesel option. A 4-speed automatic was the standard transmission across all engine options. Though not officially a recognized model year, the 2016 'version' would be part of the first and only generation of Excursions.
