The 2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty is the penultimate model year for the truck's second generation. Notable for its robust performance and conventional design, the F-250 Super Duty comes in five trims – XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum. Engine options include a 6.2L V8 producing 385 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque, and a turbocharged 6.7L diesel V8 delivering an impressive 440 hp and 860 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and have option for either RWD or 4WD. This heavy-duty truck comes with safety features such as trailer sway control and hill start assist, as well as optional rear parking sensors and a rearview camera. Infotainment options are modest for this year model, including a standard two-speaker sound system in the regular cab and a four-speaker system in the larger cab models, with options for Ford's Sync voice command and a better audio system in the higher trims.
