The 2016 GMC Terrain is a small crossover that offers a distinctive character with its bold design and powerful presence on the roads. It comes in SLE, SLT and Denali trims, along with two engine choices: a 182-hp 2.4L four-cylinder or a 301-hp 3.6L V6, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. It is a front-wheel-drive vehicle with an available all-wheel drive. The Terrain provides a solid set of standard equipment, including a rearview camera and 7" touchscreen interface that supports Bluetooth, OnStar with a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, and smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Standard safety features included are anti-lock brakes, stability and traction control, front-seat side-impact airbags, side curtain airbags, and a rearview camera. The Denali version comes with blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert systems.
