The 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander is a part of the third-generation SUV known for its value-oriented approach in a competitive market. It comes in four trims: ES, SE, SEL and GT. The Outlander comes standard with FWD, but offers AWD in all trims except the base ES. The standard powertrain is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 166 horsepower, mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
