The 2016 Toyota RAV4 is part of the model’s fourth generation. It comes with a 2.5L four-cylinder engine that produces 176 horsepower. The Limited Hybrid model combines that engine with two electric motors for a net output of 194 hp. Both versions are paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard on the RAV4, while all-wheel drive is optional. It’s available in four trims: LE, XLE, SE, and Limited. Each trim offers a comprehensive list of standard features. A refreshed exterior design and the addition of a new SE trim marked the significant changes for the 2016 model year. Safety features include Toyota’s Safety Sense suite with lane departure warning, forward collision warning, and automatic high beams. Infotainment features in the RAV4 include a standard 6.1-inch touchscreen, as well as an optional 7-inch touchscreen on higher trims. The system includes Bluetooth, a USB port, Siri Eyes Free, and a six-speaker audio system.
