The 2016 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid is a compact crossover SUV and also the first generation of hybrid models for the RAV4 lineup. Available in two trims, XLE and Limited, its powertrain combines a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with two electric motors to produce a total output of 194 horsepower, mated to a CVT transmission. The drivetrain is AWD, provided by an electric motor powering the rear wheels when required for additional traction. Standard features include a 6.1-in infotainment touchscreen with a rearview camera, dual-zone automatic climate control, keyless ignition and entry, and the Toyota Safety Sense suite, including forward collision warning, lane departure warning, automatic high-beams, and adaptive cruise control.
