The 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan is a compact crossover SUV that belongs to the model's first generation. It's available in four trims: S, R-Line, SE, and SEL. All trims are powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine generating 200 horsepower and mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel '4Motion' drive is optional. The Tiguan includes standard safety features such as anti-lock brakes, stability and traction control, and various airbags.
