The 2016 Volvo XC60 is part of the first generation of Volvo's premium compact crossover lineup. It is available in T5 Drive-E, T5 AWD, T6 Drive-E, T6 AWD, and T6 AWD R-Design trims. All models are equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Key safety features include stability and traction control, antilock brakes, front seat side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags, Volvo's On Call system, whiplash protection system in front seats, and City Safety, which can automatically brake to avoid a collision at speeds under 30 mph. As for infotainment, all trims come with an infotainment system featuring a 7-inch display screen, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, voice commands, and an eight-speaker sound system with a CD player, satellite radio, an auxiliary audio jack and an iPod/USB audio interface.
