Introduced in 2014, the BMW i3 is a well-regarded electric vehicle. The 2017 model offers an improved battery pack for longer driving range. It comes with a 170-horsepower electric engine that produces almost instant acceleration, with an optional gas generator to extend the total range. It features a Rear Wheel Drive drivetrain paired with an automatic transmission. There are two trims available, the base i3 and the sportier i3s. Despite its small size, it offers remarkably spacious and upscale interior made with environmentally friendly materials. Infotainment highlights include a 6.5-inch screen, navigation, BMW's iDrive system, Apple CarPlay, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. Additionally, standard driver assistance features include front and rear parking sensors, automatic high-beam headlights, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, and forward collision warning.
