The 2017 Ford Fusion Energi is part of the second-generation Fusion lineup. It is a plug-in hybrid that boasts an impressive 2.0L 4-cylinder engine and electric motor, offering a combined output of 195 horsepower when fully charged. Transmission is taken care of by an E-CVT automatic, and it employs a FWD drivetrain. The Fusion Energi comes in two trims - SE Luxury and Titanium. Some key safety features involve a rearview camera, anti-lock disc brakes, traction and stability control, front-seat side airbags, front knee airbags and side curtain-type airbags. The infotainment system features SYNC 3 that offers enhanced voice recognition, an 8" LCD touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. For 2017, Ford refreshed the Fusion's exterior and updated the interior with better materials and a rotary gear selector.
