The 2017 Nissan Rogue Hybrid is a compact crossover with AWD as an available option and 176 combined system horsepower, thanks to its 2.0L DOHC 16-Valve 4-Cylinder engine and electric motor powered by a lithium-ion battery. The hybrid powertrain mated to an Xtronic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) offers pleasing fuel economy. Two trims are available – SV and SL. Rogue Hybrid is equipped with a 7" touchscreen display, integrated navigation, voice recognition, and smartphone pairing technologies such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Key safety features of this model include automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, and a blind-spot warning among others. Notably, 2017 was the first year that the hybrid model was made available, expanding the Nissan Rogue lineup.
