2017 RAM 5500 Overview

The 2017 RAM 5500 is part of the 4th generation of Ram's heavy-duty truck lineup. As a commercial truck, it’s powered by a 6.4L HEMI V8 delivering 370 hp, but buyers who require higher towing and payload capacity can opt for the 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel delivering 325 hp. Both engine options come with a durable 6-speed automatic transmission. Although the RAM 5500 is primarily focused on capability and function, it does not skimp on comfort. It comes with an available Uconnect infotainment system which includes navigation, voice command, and a 5-inch touchscreen. Safety features include advanced multistage front airbags and electronic stability control.
