2018 BMW X4 Overview

The 2018 BMW X4 belongs to the first generation of the compact luxury crossover, produced from 2014 to 2018. Available in two trims, xDrive28i and M40i, the X4 is powered either by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 240 hp or a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that puts out 355 hp. Both engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive. The 2018 BMW X4 features a suite of driver assists, including forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking, and lane departure warning. The infotainment set-up involves a 6.5-inch screen with BMW's iDrive interface, Bluetooth, and a USB port. Key luxury features for 2018 include leather upholstery, a panorama sunroof, and heated front seats. For model year 2018, the X4 remained largely unchanged, given it was the last year of the first-generation design.
