The 2018 Hyundai Ioniq Electric is a compact, eco-friendly hatchback that's part of the first generation which debuted in 2017. It's powered by an 88-kW electric motor that churns out 118 horsepower and supports an EPA-rated range of 124 miles. The Ioniq Electric uses a single-speed reduction gear transmission and comes in two trim levels: base and Limited. It also includes a suite of advanced safety features under Hyundai's SmartSense program, such as forward collision avoidance and lane keeping assist. This model year does not have significant changes from its debut in 2017.
