The 2018 Mercedes-Benz SLC is a sleek and stylish luxury roadster, part of the model's second generation that began in 2011. It comes in two trims: the SLC 300 and the performance-oriented AMG SLC 43. The SLC 300 is powered by a 241-hp, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, and the AMG SLC 43 features a 362-hp, twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6. Both trims are paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. Inside, the SLC offers a 7-inch infotainment screen with the COMAND® system, optional Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Harman Kardon sound system. Safety features of note include Attention Assist, Active Brake Assist, and available Blind Spot Assist. For 2018, all models were equipped with a standard rearview camera and the SLC 43 gained a dual-mode titanium exhaust.
