The 2019 BMW X3 is part of the second generation of BMW's compact luxury crossover. It's available in two trims: the xDrive30i and the performance-focused M40i. Both models come with an 8-speed automatic transmission and BMW's xDrive all-wheel-drive system. The xDrive30i is powered by a 2.0L turbocharged I4 engine with 248 hp, while the M40i gets a 3.0L turbocharged I6 that produces 355 hp. Standard infotainment features include BMW's iDrive interface with a 6.5-inch display, though a 10.2-inch touchscreen with gesture control is available, along with Apple CarPlay compatibility and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. The X3 also offers key safety features, including front collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, and a backup camera. For 2019, the X3 added park distance control and an alarm system to its standard feature list.
